Yeah the 650's are a wee bit outside of the budget at $450-50 ;) I've tried the 598's and wasn't overly impressed. I've also had the PSB M4U 2's. Those were supposed to be my travel headphones until the plastic started cracking and I had to take them back.

I'd like to keep it under $300. The M100's are fun but they're not as good for more mellow piano or guitar driven music. So maybe something with more of a focus on that. On a side note I also have the ATH M50's and the Monster Turbine Coppers for IEM's.
