So after a few general mods... You can change the cables, BUT you can't change the voice coils correct ? Sry if it's a noob question...

Is it possible to get an sr80 or sr60 to sound like or have the detail level of a sr325?   I hear they are maybe the same driver? What would be the mod to accomplish this?     :D

i wanted to say i have tried sources thru an 500.00 $ Onkyo Receiver headphone out - its muddy compared to the line6 dac

I have 3 sources   1. line6 dac usb 24 96 sound - very clean sounding- use it with my Stax as well   2. Cowon J3 - next clean sounding   3. Rockboxed clip+ :) kinda whatever sounding , but still good    Only with the clip do i get some high weird stuff,    I havent even foam...

One thing I notice about the hje900 is with a great clean high end source they have no 'sibilance  ' BUT just plugged into a rockboxed clip+   they can have the 'sibilance  ' peeps talk about... Great source = no sibliance' for me anyway....
