    USB DAC/sound card - bypass kmixer on foobar2000

    Is there anyway to bypass windows kmixer using Foobar2000 on USB sound card or DACs? I know Propagamma has USB ASIO driver for Windows and MacOS, although they are giving an offer price of EUR44, its still quite costly. Anyone knows any alternative?

    Philips HP1000 headphones & Amp recommendation

    Anyone have the Philips HP1000 here? A brief review is much appreciated. And I heard that the HP1000 is pretty hard to drive. Even the x-can v3 is barely able to drive it well... At least that's what I heard. What is the suitable amp for this headphone? Anyone?
