Marshmallows died. Help me choose my next portable headphone.
Thanks for the replies. I'll probably just stick with the FX33's. I use them for walking to campus, and they're pretty much the perfect headphone for that use.- GreenEggs313

Marshmallows died. Help me choose my next portable headphone.
I like the Marshmallows, and I'm thinking of getting another pair. But I've been away from Head-Fi for a while and don't know if there are any new cheap-but-good headphones that have come out recently. Should I stick with the Marshmallows? Has anything else come out at a similar price...- GreenEggs313

I like how the Marshmallows sound with my new iPod
Just got a new iPod, and the marshmallows sound really great with it. The iBuds aren't that bad either, definitely better than most make them out to be. I'll hold on to them and use them often because they're easier to put in my ears than the marshmallows. My HD25sp seems to sound...- GreenEggs313

I wonder why Headroom likes the HD201 so much?

I wonder why Headroom likes the HD201 so much?
I feel they are lacking in bass which makes them sound thin. I like their look though, they do look fancy. They're pretty comfy as well, and small enough to be portable. If these things sounded like the HD25sp, they'd be amazing. I use my HD201's as portables sometimes, but usually I...- GreenEggs313

I had an HF1 but I sold it because it really wasn't that much better than my SR60s
The HF1's were better than the SR60s, but they weren't that much better. HF1s definately aren't worth $350 when you can get the SR60s for $70. The SR60s are about 90-95% of the HF1s soundwise.- GreenEggs313

Had more bass, that's about it. Sometimes I regret selling those things though, because they were a collectors item. But in the end I made $100 profit for listening to them for about a year. Not bad how that worked out.- GreenEggs313

JVC marshmallow isolation
Mine isolate as well as my e2c's...If you have music playing through them you won't be distracted easily. With both my e2c's and my marshmallows I can pause the music and have a conversation with people around me, but it is hard to hear them. I'd say the fx33s isolate well.- GreenEggs313

I just want to make a thread about how much I like my HD25sp
I've never heard the HD25 version, but the sp definately ain't bad. I really like it as a closed headphone. It sounds like a refined version of the HD212 with less bass. I have a macbook and the 25sp is a great phone for using in the library and such. Sweet pair of headphones, you...- GreenEggs313

Listening to the DT770 right now....
...hmm. I've heard these were bassy headphones. They do seem to have sufficient bass, but they aren't over the top with the bass. These things are pretty ****ing sweet if you ask me. I'm used to my SR60s and these sound different but I like the flavor. I might have to figure out a way...- GreenEggs313

Should I Buy a Set of Marshmallows or Order a Shure Soft Sleeve pack for my E2C?
HH Greg down the street had them. I thought these things had flexy soft sleeves, these 'foamies' feel like a gym mat or something. But they work, and they're comfy and will definitely be more durable than my e2c foamies. I've noticed that by just putting them in your ear and twisting them...- GreenEggs313
