My customised volume knob. Nice? Mirror(polished) finished. Incredibly reflective. This knob is heavy as it is made of solid brass and plated in Gold. Feels solid! The weight gives a really good feel when turning the knob.- Tiramisu515

Acknowledging individual preferences in sound, is it possible for tube rollers here to work toward a reference for tube recommendation with the Mk IV/se using a couple of widely appreciated headphones such as HD 650, HD 600, DT-990, DT-880, AKG 701 etc or even HD 800 and T1. Of course, with an...- Tiramisu515

Hi jr41 'wow, that is great shopping. Envy you. In fact you won't go wrong with the combo you just made. It's personal preference. Both senn and beyer sound quite differently, so it may not be a bad thing to own both cos each may be more suited for different type of music. In...- Tiramisu515

I meant easiler to drive the 600 with a OTL. Your Woo Audio, I am very sure is an excellent sounding amp that I too would love to own some day. " class="bbcode_smiley" height="1" src="http://files.head-fi.org/images/smilies//smily_headphones1.gif" title="" width="1" /> Quote:- Tiramisu515

yes, indeed, Penchum's. He got a few for his various LD amp. However the ones Parts Connexion supply now does not suit the LD amp anymore. The shaft hole is too shallow and the hex screw hole position is positioned too far end. I purchased one recently and just couldn't use it. Sad....but...- Tiramisu515
