I got a couple of those on my wall - i attached a contact quick release hook to the bottom of them so it could hang the cords without messing with the headbands....i do find that the sharp edges ding up the headbands a little, but I'll live with it....- hdufour

ringing/buzzing sound from front panel audio jack.
Good job figuring that out! Sounds like the case designer cut a few corners on that front panel - bummer, but figuring it out just earned you a smile ear to ear, and a . We should all remember that little trick in case we run across it in the future....- hdufour

The only nice thing about the Airport Express is the optical output. I keep it attached in the other room just so I can stream music elsewhere in the house from iTunes. OEM car audio systems: the good and the bad...
I've got a '10 Jetta TDI and I have petty much the same setup as the OP. totally agree with it being way too bright and fatiguing without doing some tone control and cutting highs. Also had to knock the mods down a notch or two. Overall, it's not a bad system, just bright. Now, my '00 grand...- hdufour
