ZO2 Impression Thread
So is it overall less bassier than the first iterations of ZO? Or can the same bass also be achieved by tweaking the contour levels? Also, you mention "the bypass feature is removed". What are you referring to, exactly? Other than that, thanks for the impressions! :D- XxAlterWavexX

ZO2 Impression Thread
Yeah, I wasn't really worried about them not being able to drive the m50s, seeing as how they're low impedance cans, but rather how they would sound paired with the ZO2. I've heard reports of the ZO2 having a bit of a hiss when paired with sensitive headphones, so I thought maybe the M50 would...- XxAlterWavexX

ZO2 Impression Thread
Thanks a bunch, guys. I've just been a tad disappointed with the overall performance of my M50 unamped :S I mean don't get me wrong, I think they sound awesome, but compared to how they sound from my laptop, well..... I reckon this oughta snap them into shape, getting some nicer bass and a...- XxAlterWavexX

Thanks guys :) Yeah, I'm just anxious to know how it would pair... don't want to take a shot in the dark. Also, do you need a LOD for the iphone and zo2 pairing?- XxAlterWavexX

ATH-M50 paired with Digizoid ZO2?
Hi everyone, I just made this thread cause I am extremely curious to know if these make a good pair. I know, I know, the m50 don't need an amp, but them being driven out of my iPhone 4, I miss that bass thump I get when I plug them into a good source like my Asus g73jw. Plus, I found the...- XxAlterWavexX

ATH-M50 vs Sennheiser HD 438?
Okay, so that rules the hd438 out... What about the M-Audio Q40? It's out of my budget ATM, but I've heard it pretty much pwns the m50 in basically all aspects... Is this true?- XxAlterWavexX

ATH-M50 vs Sennheiser HD 438?
Ok, so FINALLY I will be ordering one of these two this week. Here are my requirements: *Must isolate a fair amount of noise and prevent considerable sound leakage. *Must work well UNAMPED driven from my iPhone. *Must have good, impacting, yet clean bass. *Will be using...- XxAlterWavexX

HD 448 or ATH-M50
Hey, sorry for reviving this thread, but I just so happen to be in the same position and completely confused as to what to get One thing though, my sister works at Compusa and can get the 448 for $65. They don't have the ATH-m50's. I like heavy rock, but heard the bass from the 448 is quite...- XxAlterWavexX

Sennheiser HD 448 vs 438?
So guys, I've finally narrowed it down to these two for my portable listening needs. Here, the situation is very tricky. You see, I would rather buy the Senn's HD 438 (I've heard these are better for rock, which is what I intend to listen to) and there's more punch in the bass, but if I decide...- XxAlterWavexX
