I tend to have trouble breathing when it gets past 90F, although I also shiver so hard when I'm cold I have trouble controlling my mouse or typing... I suppose breathing isn't all that important.

Thanks for reading them kingtz.   I've mostly been listening to FLACs and 96khz vinyl rips. Rarely anything below 256kbps VBR. To be honest, I have a really hard time telling the difference from a good 256 VBR MP3 and a FLAC.

Last I heard, wear/noise damage to the cells in the cochlea were cumulative and permanent as they don't regenerate. I would go for a second opinion, seeing as how the diagnosis could make listening less enjoyable just by making you think you're missing out.
