Havent heard the other two but I own the hd555's and have been generally disappointed with them.

Trying to decide between the m10 and D1010MkII08 for music listening (possibly D1080MkII08 if there is a big difference over the 1010)   WIll sit in the bedroom with an Iphone as the source

First post I've seen by someone who owned the D1010MK08, made a post awhile about them but no responses.   Been thinking of getting them for awhile

Its a cool idea, after purchasing m10's for work and HD555's for home the Sens are disappointing and have thought about moving them.  The Alessandro's I debated but felt they might need an amp.

I've yet to seen a review on the Swan D1010MkII though I've been debating on getting them.  Main concern is the distance needed from the wall.

I have used EAC to FLAC all of my cd's, then have vbr MP3's averaging around 245 with 700x700 album around on almost all except a few 600x600.  Made sure all info is tagged correctly including upper/lower case for each album.   This is back upped to external hard drives.   Glad I'm not...

They way the Light seems to be around the volume knob is going to make it hard to cover, it is stupid that such a small thing changes consideration on a sound device but it is important in this setting

I was looking at older posts with the 2.0 swan m100 but it seems those are no longer. With that 2.1 I could make due as long as the power light isn't bright

Not for a computer but for the bedroom, connecting will be an iphone via Apple Dock Connector to 3.5mm Audio/USB Charge.  Will sit on top of a dresser.    Price Range: 100 - 200   M-Audio av40 (concerned about leaving them on and the blue light around the volume being too bright)...

While I agree that the amount of m50 posts are a bit annoying, its going to be hard to defend beats from being anything other than a marketing exercise.    People buy them, its a fashion statement

Got mine today, with about 4hrs on them I did the quick mod and they sound promising.  I can only judge after extended listening, usually I dont like new sets at first maybe due to familiar songs sounding different/out of the norm   These arent as bass heavy as my m50's and seem brighter.

No amp yet, I'm open to a different sound to the m50's though

Mine should arrive tomorrow, hopefully the sound is equal to or better than the m50's, as that is what I listen to about 4hrs a day at work.

I use UE TripleFi 10 but if IEM's didnt work I probably could use my m50's

Thinking of picking up these, my KCS75 died and now I have the m50's for work, UE Triple.fi 10 for travel and nothing for home.   How did it take for them to ship the package, need to make sure Im in town for UPS.
