I got my pk2's from Todd in the Y format a few days ago and I find them to be absolutely amazing. I do have a small question: what is the purpose of the little half open foamies that came with it? One of them split in half already and I am wondering if I actually need them.

I have a hole in my earphone collection. I have Superfi5 pros for isolation, Senn cx300s for partial isolation, and Senn px100s and koss ksc75's that fill the portable open niche. I need earbuds that do not isolate, if only for domestic tranquility. I am pretty sure what the usual suspects are...
