Jin's headbands are awesome, I have bought several as well.  They not only look really nice, they're also a big comfort upgrade over the stock plastic.

Magnums are sized to Grado specs, they're the same dimensions as Grado drivers.

You'll have to be more specific - I'd love to hear when/where that actually happened...!  I would imagine the driver and any internal parts would be really low quality stuff in a counterfeit and would therefore sound terrible.

A lot of counterfeit stuff out there, definitely be careful when buying on ebay - especially if the price looks too good to be true.  I love to get second hand stuff to save money, but that's the one thing to always consider.  Certain brands / higher selling models are the ones you have to look...
