E1DA DACs Discussion Thread (PDV2, 9038S, 9038D, 9038X, HiFiToy, HPToy)
According to the site whose link you shared AKG K240 sextett can reach 102dB with 9038D. Isn't it more than enough? I used 92db SPL /mW.- *cihan*

About PSB m4u 4
I have them and I like the sound of them. No mid bass bleeding. Bassy but not in all tracks. I feel like they stay loyal to the recording. Good recordings always sound right to me. I also never hear mid bass hump while listening speech as I heard on Beyerdynamic Byron. Highs aren't extended much...- *cihan*

About PSB m4u 4
I think there's a problem with the fitting of this in ear. At least it doesn't fit well universally for most of the people. Some people say it's bass shy and some say it has more bass than they desire.) some say bass is loose and some say it's tight.) I'll get both cables. I think I'll be happy...- *cihan*

About PSB m4u 4
I expect the same since price range is different. On the other hand m4u 4 is not a common in ear. So maybe it doesn't offer enough for its price. But many people say the opposite and compare with more expensive models. I'm totally confused.)- *cihan*

About PSB m4u 4
There are people comparing it with Shure SE 425. So I wonder if it can cope with some other iems. I can get them 45 USD used. I have Beyerdynamic Byron. So I wonder if it's going to be an upgrade over Byrons.- *cihan*

Review of Hidizs AP100 portable HiFi music player
I almost never use equalizer but I could try with AP100 since it's hardware. I still cannot really decide if I need Ap100 however I'll make some A/B testing against LG V20 before buying and share my ideas here. Seller says battery is in mint condition but I can never know. Thanks for your help.- *cihan*

Review of Hidizs AP100 portable HiFi music player
Thanks for the reply. What I don't like about LG V20 vs a its bass performance. I used to plug in some Shure SRH 440 and AKG K240 sextett to the head phone out of my old Pioneer and Kenwood stereo amplifiers. There was some hiss. However bass performance was superb, so tight and controlled even...- *cihan*

Review of Hidizs AP100 portable HiFi music player
I can buy a used AP100 FOR 75 USD. Is it still a good price for AP100 today or should I consider some other DAP for under 200 USD? And I'd also like to ask if AP100 is still good enough comparing today's DAPS. I should mention that I already own a LG v20 and I enjoy it. But I'd appreciate any...- *cihan*

About PSB m4u 4
Does anyone use these in ears? Anyone to compare these with other in ears? I can get a pair used for 45 USD. I have Beyerdynamic Byron. I used AKG K612 PRO and AKG sextett before and I like AKG sound. But I don't mind some more bass unless it's bloated at certain frequencies.- *cihan*

AKG K612 Pro VS Fostex t20rp
Thanks a lot for your long reply. Well , I'll consider buying an old k701 if I can find. In fact I have a K240 sextett that I only listened with a poor on-board soundcard connected to a speaker amp. My amp is strong enough and I can never go more than 1/3 of the dial but my source sucks...- *cihan*

AKG K612 Pro VS Fostex t20rp
Is there anyone who owns or has heard both AKG K601 or K612 and Fostex T20rp or T40rp or T50rp? I just listened fostex T20rp mk3 for a while on stock form and they sound nice except the exaggerated bass on voice/speech. I'm not sure if I liked them for its sound or because they're open...- *cihan*

Beyerdynamic Byron vs Etymotic Er2se
I have been enjoying Beyerdynamic Byron wired in ears for a long time out of LG V20 and I'm looking for an upgrade nowadays. Yamaha HPH 200 buzzing / crackling
I can buy HFI 2200 ULE whihc is identical to HFI 2400 for 40 euros in like new condition. But I still cannot decide. I like it to hear the mids in music. Even if it has great bass, it is mentioned that the mids are suppressed by the bass by many headfiers. So I am doubtful if I will like them...- *cihan*

Yamaha HPH 200 buzzing / crackling
I've just bought a pair of Yamaha HPH 200 and I'm happy with them as long as the right cup doesn't buzz with the deep bass. In some of the bass tests I've found that there is a buzz at about 160Hz and 70Hz on right channel. I also notice that while listening to LAURA FYGI - How Insensitive ...- *cihan*

Shure SRH440 Impression
I have to add that when I listen to records from Sheffield Labs with SRH 440, I can't hear anything wrong except a littler harshness for the saxophone. Maybe good recordings are necessary for the these headphones to shine. ) I really enjoy the drums and especially kick drum with these. =)- *cihan*

Shure SRH440 Impression
I don't really know why it is so but I can say that SRH 440 is bassier from the amplifier lights too. When I adjust the volume so that I will hear the mid frequencies and vocals at same levels for both 440 and Sextetts in a music with a lot of bass, I can see the peak is 500 mW for Sextetts and...- *cihan*

Shure SRH440 Impression
I'm coming from AKG K240 Sextett and Sennheiser PX-200 II. I listen to music on PC and on Realtek ALC 883 onboard souncard and use Pioneer SA-940 amplifier's headphone output. The amplifier has like 0,3 Ohm output for speakers, I am not sure if it the same for the headphone output though. I...- *cihan*
