DJ headphones in my opinion need to have 4 things. Durability, rotating/collapsable cups, good isolation. I think the phones you have now are probably good enough. Laidback luke Dj's with IEM and hes a beast.

Ultrasone Pro-550. I tried these out and I liked them more than my m-50's. Better soundstage and the bass was punchy but not overpowering. 

Where did you buy them for $110? 

is the only difference between the 550 and 580 the impedance? I know the 550 comes with an extra cable.

I currently have some m50s (white box) and was wondering which one of these would be a better upgrade. I do enjoy bass but not enough to buy beats or Sony xb700. I listen to house, hiphop, rock and some jazz. I use my iPhone 4 with a fiio L3 to a E5.

Well I missed out on the sale, looks like the coppers are still 224 @ amazon and the Reg Turbins for $91.    Has anyone heard anything about the control talk models? I'd really like to get those so i can use them with my iPhone as well.
