Obscure Chinese DAPs
You don't need any additional tool to install the new firmware! I just copied the two firmware files into the root of the microsd and then selected from A50 menu the "Auto Upgrade" command: non program needed at all. Just be aware that you need to rename correctly the international version of...- miriddin

Obscure Chinese DAPs
I bought my Ruizu A50 from PenonAudio and i asked them about firmware upgrade. They send to me the two necessary files (RUIZU_A50.HEX and RUIZU_A50_M2_20170805.fw) with DSD256 files support and i upgraded my Ruizu A50 with them, but i have not yet checked if the DSD256 files support is included...- miriddin

The Shenzhen Benjie BJ-T6 / AGPtek Rocker
A new firmware version is out for Agptek Rocker, even if the release number is lower then the preview firmware version (1.05 beta vs 1.1): there are some bug fixes but i don't agree with the choice to lock physical buttons when the screen is off: you can only operate volume buttons! ...- miriddin

Obscure Chinese DAPs
The P3000 found on AliExpress is sold in three different versions: WHITE = 16 GB BLACK = 32 GB RED = 64 GB but i don't understand if the capacity is referred to internal ram with a free microsd slot or to a provided microsd inserted into the slot...- miriddin

It seems to me the same problem of early version of Hidizs AP60! Hidizs AP60 use firmware with the same extension and has no internal memory as well: so no root directory exist on the player. I received a second AP60 from Penon because was not possible to upgrade firmware on the first...- miriddin

I don't think so! The line out level is crazy high! Have you checked in "Play Settings" "The Line Level" command? By default the "volume Synchronization" option is selected and line-out output is limited by the volume set on the player, but you can select "-6 db" or "0 db" option for...- miriddin
