Got me the HD555, did the "Foam-mod", liked it. My Laptop is still having a hard time to drive the 555's using foobar2000 + asio4all v2. iPod+E1 seems to handle them better, at a decent volume and without hiss. I hope, the E7 will be released soon. I already like the sound of the 5*5's...

Well, thanks alot. Sounds like buying the HD555_mod + FiiO E7 (=130€) rather than the HD595 (=120€) is a good idea?

Hi there! Currently, I use the Klipsch S4's with an iPod touch + FiiO E1 or my standard Laptop as audiosource. How does the Sennheiser HD-595 compare to the S4's? What's the difference in sound? Is it even comparible? To be precise, I will rephrase my question: vs. =

E1 improves the SQ of iPod Touch+S4 a little bit... i guess thats mostly due to the usage of the cleaner line-out signal. I used a sharp knive to carefully mod my ifrogz-case. It was no big deal. ...Adds a personal touch to my Touch
