Probably gonna check out the PXC450s tomorrow. Reviews say they don't sound as good as the QC15s and don't isolate as well.

Comfort and isolation are big factors for me. I think it's actually worth sacrificing some sound quality to get more comfort and isolation/NR. My primary use for headphones is my day job, so I need to wear them for long periods of time and having headphones that are uncomfortable or hurt my ears...

Is there anything better than QC15s in that price range for noise-cancelling / isolation, but with an around-ear design? I'm sure the HD25s can get better with stretching, but I'm not sure I'll ever find them as comfortable as my old Bose around-ears.. which is a real shame as I love the sound.

Do the velour pads fit the 25-1 II's? Scoured the net and can only find references to them for the 25's..

Really good bass is powerful but controlled, really clear and solid sound, doesn't distort even if i give it full volume out of my iphone with bass boost on. bass boost destroyed the bose 'phones i had before.
