External DAC for HD600 + iMac + MG Head OTL tube amp
hmmm i am kind of new here but i am not sure those are even DACs? they appear to be more of a usb sound solution for doing some recording coupled with a high quality usb soundcard. if you are not a musician or need to record voice overs via mic i am pretty sure your money will be much better...- Forbin

Yes! Same exact thing is happening to me. Using a uDac a LD MkIII and the HD600. I purchased the cans used here and was a little worried i bought a bunk pair. yeah i am definately going the dedicated amp route. i was thinking about going with the little dot mkIII. that would be a pretty sufficient amp for any of these phones in a moderate price range, no? i am curious to try out a tube amp as well.- Forbin
