hey guys. i'm still kind of a newb when it comes to high end audio and i was wondering if someone could explain to be the benefits of a dual mono dac design as opposed to a dac that utilizes a single chip. from what i gather it seems like it lends itself to better channel separation and a lower noise floor? basically would a dual mono dac be noticeably better sounding than a single dac counterpart of the same general design? thanks!
