Thing is these headphones weren't from the same batch one was new one 2-3 years old anyway I would have had it replaced it earlier but I've been overseas, Anyway I'll try the crap phones on the plane on the way back and see if it breaks those.

BTW any suggestions like these cant stand over the ear.... I was going to buy ety hf5 but since I listen to mainly techno trance etc the lack of bass didn't exactly appeal to me

With the Klipsch custom 2 do they have to be worn around the ear or can you straighten out the cord so they fall straight? Thanks

ER6i's just died on me and I'm looking to buy one of these 2. So any opinions or experiences with these earphones would be great. I listen to about 80% trance/techno with the last 20% being a mix of rock,pop,rap. So thanks for any help
