I've searched the forum and most people seem to be looking for an AMP and seperate DAC or just an AMP. I am hoping that there is an AMP/DAC combo that would pair really well with the Denon D2000s. As far as a budget, not really sure what I am willing to spend. I will start at 200 - 300...

Are headphones generally problem free? I just bought some Denon AH-D2000 headphones and am wondering if i should spare the extra 25 bucks for a 1 yr warranty?

Well I'm planning on getting an amp/dac. Only thing about 100hrs, is that after that amount of time i wont be able to do an exchange. Would putting an amp/dac bring the Shures bass up significantly?

So i ended up going with the SRH840's, and they really seem lacking in the bass department. I'm no bass junkie, but i really like to feel it and for it to have at least some punch to it. I'm thinking of returning these, any suggestions?

So it being said that i am going to get an amp/dac regardless, would i also be better off exchanging these phones for a different set while i still can? If so Denon? Ultrasone? I feel so lost again! I wish there was somewhere around here that i could try some out but i dont know of...
