Except for the "unique concern" and the foam mod, this review is more/less identical to how I felt about the RE0. Small/medium single-flange tips are the way to go.

On the RE0: yes it's not easy, but it's not super difficult either. It requires a bit of practice. The default tips are actually the hardest to put on. I find that you don't have to be gentle on them as long as u don't make any tearing motions. You can literally mash that tip in until it fits. lol.

The bass on the RE0 definitely improves after some use / burn-in.

Yeah I don't imagine Logitech as being a site that is designed to handle a large qty of orders like Amazon's would be.

You can still order it from logitech but I think it'd be under "back order" status and if they discontinue the product before you get yours then they'll cancel the order.

It says "out of stock" on logitech now. I thought about shipping them to the New York border and picking them up from Canada (1.5 hours drive)...Seems like too much effort at the moment.
