I like to get this up and answer some questions. Did stax maybe had a problem with a specific series of the amp? I have a D50 and a 007 and it works like a charm, also mine isnt getting very hot. not warmer than a full diaper of my son (for comparision :D ) also absolutely zero sound issues...

Stax SR-L700 MK2 - 1 week old with very few hours on them. Beautiful Headphones and i like the sound of them a lot but the shape is not suitable for my head so i am sticking to my Omaga's. The Staxes are like new, 1 week old and therefore in like new conditions. stand and hat are not included...

well i´´m still using it with a Sennheiser HD 650 and it does its job, and i think its doing it very well.   also worked as a DAC for my Stax set of a 404 and a T1S !

actually im using a Phase 24 fw Firewire Soundcard wich has a great DAC and a built in Headamp,   but bad thing about it is, that it is no longer build :-(
