He didn't seem too welcoming in that regard...however no problem. Some people are the more nervous type. I figured If I get them worst case scenario I can sell them and I need an amp anyway so....- zackw419

Mad Dog Pro's!
How do these sound un-amped vs amped? The reason I ask is because I found a pair locally and tried them out with my iphone 7 and the volume was pretty damn low, that being said- There was nothing special about the sound IMO. I'm wondering how different these are with an amp...and if I should...- zackw419

Review by 'zackw419' on item 'Soundmagic E80 in-ear monitor headphone'
I've had these for almost a year or so now I think. If durability is your number one priority look no further. I've washed these by accident twice and they were in the drier once and work perfectly. The first time I washed these without drying, I used them when they were wet, the sound was...- zackw419

Decent/Affordable Computer Audio
Thanks for the reccomendations. Those edifers look nice protege. 150 for both? not a bad price at all. What are your thoughts bass impact of having a separate sub vs not having one. Can those provide a good amount of bass?- zackw419

dt770 80 ohms- :-/
So I carefully selected a seller on ebay. He had the dt770's listed as "open box amazon return, never been used". So I went with it at $120. Got them today, left driver is hissing constantly...and they just don't sound good to me. They might be defective all around...but the mids sound not...- zackw419

Question about amp/dac stack with dt770 80ohm
I own a saffire 6 1.1 soundcard for music production https://us.focusrite.com/usb-audio-interfaces/saffire-6-usb/specifications I want something powerful enough to drive my dt700's to their full potential. I was thinking of getting the magni and stacking it with the saffire 6. My question is...- zackw419

Kind of off topic but kind of not
Alright well i've noticed now for about a week that when I wear IEM's my right ear hears more detail in the music and sounds very open while my left ear doesn't hear the music as clearly. I don't use cutips that often and I dont jam them all the way in my ear but ive noticed there is more wax...- zackw419

Bassheads, Consider Denon c710
I forgot to mention they are extremely durable. I ride my bike alot and take the bus because I'm a highschool student who cant afford a car and i drop these headphones about every other day. It sounds like im careless but I ride my bike pretty fast and sometimes they get caught. But yea, I drop...- zackw419

Bassheads, Consider Denon c710
When I first got these headphones I really didn't like them that much, they sounded messy, there was a lot of bass it was more boomy that accurate. So boomy that you couldn't really enjoy the detail. They were very 'lively' right out of the box but seemed too lively and at times muffled. I...- zackw419

alright guys I want to know more about what exactly amps can do and how you use them. I know it can enhance sound quality. I hear alot of people use portable amps but how 'portable' are they? I might look into getting one if its small enough and can perform well. How much can an amp...- zackw419

Sleek Audio SA6's
Wow, I had no idea. I was originally looking at these because I thought they would have a good combo of bass and clarity (I listen to rap) for a 150-200 price range. I guess im going to have to re-think my options. Do you recommend anything as an alternative? This IEM thing is tricky business.- zackw419

Sleek Audio SA6's
Who has used these? I'm pretty much looking for a bunch of opinions on these IEM's because I'm thinking about buying them. What kind of music have you listened to with these? What are the pros and cons (etc)? I've heard good things about these and wanting to see how they compare to my Denon c710's.- zackw419
