I own the dt660s and I think you might have the descriptions reversed.  The dt660s are like closed grados, they have a peak in the upper mids/low treble that make them sound incredibly bright.  And they are not warm either, the mids to the bass are just neutral.  They are actually the least...

I'm archiving in flac, and I use foobar2000+lame when I want to quickly make mp3s for my mp3 player. My dream is to have my music collection on cd, flac on both of my computers and burned on dvd-r.

Well the decent files thing is covered: I listen to cds at home. And I'm using flac to very slowly archive them, at the point where it's pretty much cd listening and it will be that way for along time! lol

I don't know which to upgrade first but I will upgrade the amp and source. Not immediately though, I'll do one next month, and the other the month after.
