JH Audio 10 and 10x3
I just got my 10X3s today, so I haven't had a ton of time to really get into the nitty gritty yet but my initial impressions are really positive. I'm not quite sure where I fall in the mix on if armatures require break in or not, but my first few hours with the 10X3s have me loving the sound...- e1cie1o

Mini^3 with JH Audio JH10x3... Gain options
So I just ordered some JH10X3s from JH Audio and am most likely going to build a Mini^3 for use with them and either my iPhone4 or iPod 5G. Any recommendations on where to start with the gain on the Mini^3? I believe the default for the Mini^3 is a gain of 5x, but with such low impedance IEMs...- e1cie1o

Need opinions: Alien Ears C3 or FR-C3? Or UE 4 Pro?
I had a similar question, but I think the FR-C3 model is fairly new and haven't found much on them yet. I've pretty much considered either those or the UE4 Pros. I think I am going to get the FR-C3s since they have a 10-day trial period. The restocking fee is minimal, so if I don't like them...- e1cie1o

Help with [custom] IEM choice
Has anyone here ordered the FR-C3 from Alien ears? I know it's a relatively new model for them. Also, I noticed that their 10-day return seems to exclude the custom artwork on the IEMs. Does anyone know if this means the 10-day return is not valid on the entire purchase, or simply that the...- e1cie1o

Help with [custom] IEM choice
I've been wanting customs for a while, I'm sure an amp will follow. I'm not so sure about the JH-3A though!- e1cie1o

Help with [custom] IEM choice
It's good to hear so many good things about the TF10s. I actually may have changed my plan a bit though. I decided to be patient and use this as an opportunity to get something I've wanted for a while... Custom IEMs. I just bought a pair of Metro.fi 220s to get me through the interim. They...- e1cie1o

Help with [custom] IEM choice
I did like the sound quite a bit. I really would not have replaced them right now, but if I have to I might as well consider an upgrade. I was kind of leaning towards the tf10s since I liked the 5pros so much.- e1cie1o

Help with [custom] IEM choice
Hi everyone, Today I had the misfortune of destroying my UE Super.fi 5 Pros. So now I need to replace them ASAP (no headphones on the train to work = me in a very bad mood). I have been reading around the forums here and have narrowed down my choices based on features and price to the...- e1cie1o

Ultimate Ears re-cable for iPhone
Hi everyone, I did a bit of searching and didn't see a thread with any of this info in it. I have a set of UE Super.Fi 5 Pros that I am currently using with a cable that I made using the connectors from a broken UE cable. I'm very happy with the re-cable, but I would like to at least...- e1cie1o

DIY Cable Gallery!!
Hi everyone, Here is my first cable project. It is a cable for my Super.fi 5 Pros. I'm pretty happy with my first attempt! I would probably use a lower guage wire next time, as this 28 awg stuff is a little too thin to leave unjacketed. The techflex looks nice but is definately not ideal on...- e1cie1o
