Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I definitely have a different opinion. Adding an external amp to the TT2 means you're further away from the source signal so audio resolution will always suffer doing that. If the TT2 has enough power to drive what you're using, there is no reason to add an external amp. FWIW, TT2 has plenty...- Mediahound

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
Note that Rob Watts has stated if something digital sound darker when making a change, it's more accurate to the analog signal. If something seems to make the sound brighter, it's just adding things like noise or jitter.- Mediahound

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I started with a Supra USB cable with an Audioquest Jitterbug in line. Now I use the Titan Audio Titanis, which sounds great, but is unfortunately no longer made.- Mediahound

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I noticed more improvement cleaning up the USB from my computer to MScaler, along with upgrading the BNC cables from MScaler to TT2, than I did with any power tweaks. I used to use the Wave cables but now use the Wireworld Gold Starlight 8 (pure silver) BNCs. They sound the same to me but are...- Mediahound

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
So I bought my TT2 and MScaler 5 years ago in January 2019. I can hardly believe it's already been five years. :L3000: Datapoint: they have both been constantly on the entire time (except for a few vacations and/or power outages) and both still going strong. I work from home, so I tend to use...- Mediahound

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?
Supra Excalibur is still my favorite after a couple of years. No need to spend any more. The normal Supra is also excellent.- Mediahound

Sony is acquiring Audeze
Sankar has made an official statement here. Granted, it's not super comprehensive, it is at least something official: https://sonyinteractive.com/en/press-releases/2023/sony-interactive-entertainment-to-acquire-audeze/- Mediahound

Which model are you referring to? The new style on the LCD-5 is fine, helped also by the fact that it's an overall lighter headphone than prior LCDs.- Mediahound

Sony is acquiring Audeze
^ That video was already posted above multiple times. I think the writing is on the wall for the LCD line of headphones no matter what they are saying right now. Sony Interactive (Playstation) would have no interest in audiophile products. I could understand if Sony proper bought them but...- Mediahound

Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview
Well, he may cash out and leave the company like Axel Grell at Sennheiser did. Hence, no new 'audiophile' designs coming out of Sennheiser the last few years.- Mediahound

Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview
I bet they kill off the LCD line since it seems like they just want gaming headphones. Plus, it's not Sony proper buying Audeze, it's Sony Interactive gaming.- Mediahound

Sony is acquiring Audeze
interesting that it's the Sony interactive arm. I think they just want gaming headphones? I sure hope they don't kill off the audiophile headphones! i think they may kill those models and just do gaming ones because it's Sony Interactive buying, not Sony itself. Just my speculation though.- Mediahound
