Sony XBA-H1 and XBA-H3 Hybrid Dynamic and BA IEM
Does it actually have slightly or a lot more bass than the IE7? (it's already mentioned in this thread that it has less bass quantity than the IE80)- Headphonefreak

Sennheiser Momentum In-Ears Review by mark2410
Thanks! And is there a difference in bass quantity between them? And I assume both have more bass quantity than the XBA H3, is that right? (don't know if you've heard the XBA H3)- Headphonefreak

How would you compare the MIE to the IE8/80 in terms of sound quality? And does this justify their price difference?- Headphonefreak

Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
Thanks! So you would say the sub bass doesn't suffer from the perceived mid bass bloat/emphasis? And consequently, a note in the sub bass range will really sound as it should without a (little) layer of mid bass over it?- Headphonefreak

Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
Hi, What are the consequences for the mid bass bloat for the sub bass in the ie80? When a note of 50Hz is played from e.g. a synthesizer or a bass guitar, will the mid bass bloat influence that note then because of overtones coming from that 50 Hz note? And if this is true, does the sub bass...- Headphonefreak

some problems with the IE7
I've forgotten something: In some music the bass is often in the middle, but also something concentrated in the right. But with one CD the bass is almost all of the time concentrated in the right, and with the same music in my mp3 it is also the same. But rarely the bass is concentrated...- Headphonefreak

some problems with the IE7
Hi! I'm sure they are very clean, and my ears too And just what you say: the left is still active in the bass, but the right much more, often the balance is more on the right, but sometimes the bass is also in the middle. So you say I have to go to my dealer?- Headphonefreak

some problems with the IE7
It's the feeling the bass is more active in the right than in the left, the bass has in my feeling a little bit moved to the right. I discovered this after my IE7 has fallen, is it possible the bass become out of balance after such fall? And when the IE7 become out of balance, can it be that...- Headphonefreak

some problems with the IE7
my problem is that the bass/bassdrum often is concentrated in my right ear. I didn't recognize this before... does someone who's also got the IE7 say if this is normal? And you mean it doesn't matter when my IE7 fell in his case from 0.5 m? And is it actually possible that only the...- Headphonefreak

some problems with the IE7
Hey! Thanks for your reply! What do you mean with repositionate the driver? And it isn't the problem that the bass comes only from the right driver, but he does the most work, I've got the feeling the bass is concentrated a little bit from the middle, so more in the right than in the...- Headphonefreak

some problems with the IE7
Hi, I've bought the IE7, I think I've listened to them for some of 25 times. But now I can't enjoy them anymore, it is caused by this: At once, my IE7 was in his metal protect-case, and then, he fell in his case from a height of 50 centimeter. And now I recognized a strange thing...- Headphonefreak

wear the IE7 when it is raining...
So you mean that it is unacceptable to cycle in the rain with IEM with vents? Imagine, it is beginning to rain, would a little rain damage the IEM?- Headphonefreak

wear the IE7 when it is raining...
Hi, I've just ordered the IE7, thanks for the help you gave. But now I've only one question: I read on the IE7 apprecation thread that you can't cycle or walk with the IE7 when it is raining, this is caused by the vents. Is this true, because that isn't a good point. Thanks!- Headphonefreak

Bose triport in ear or denon ahc 551/751
I think I will go for the IE7, but first a few questions: -I'm not a basshead, more a treblehead. -Can a shure be better in the same price range as the IE7 (I live in Holland =>IE7 cheaper?) So is the IE7 better than the er4, ahc751 or the shure (shure in the same price range) when you...- Headphonefreak

OK, So the IE7 is better than the 751. What would be better IE7 or IE8? And is the er4 a good choice? (what is the difference between er4s/p and more variations>) I would always appreciate more other suggestions.- Headphonefreak

What about the isolation of the denons? => my 351 isolates very bad. And do I make a good choice choosing the Denon 551/751 for rock or etymotic er4p/s for classical? And what about the turbines or IE7/8? And what's de the difference between the 551 and the 751?- Headphonefreak
