Audiospace Mini-2004 headphone & speaker Tube amp
Yeah 12 watts would be more than enough for a small to medium size living room maybe even a large living room unless your driving those really big or inefficient speakers, I dont think you would need super efficient horn speakers. I use to own a 7 watt Antique Sound labs tube amp that drove my...- MichealAngelo

* HELP * Which Desktop stereo speaker to get?
You should consider studio monitors they will sound better than the A2's. Tascam ones would be great and they're in youre price range, if you can push your budget up or find these used the tapco s series is considered one of the best bargains out there- MichealAngelo

New setup - headphones, amp, dac...
Check out the Ultrasone line of headphones they are known for sounding great with pretty much all genres. I'm not a fan of the nurforce dacs, as far as their amps go I don't have much experience with them so I cant make a call on that. The violectric amps are really high quality and sound great...- MichealAngelo

Audiospace Mini-2004 headphone & speaker Tube amp
Hi everyone I had a chance to listen to this amp a few days ago at an audio meet. The amp has a speaker and headphone output. I listened to the headphone output with my HD600's and I was really just stunned at how good the headphone output sounded, I havn't heard many tube amps, I mainly have...- MichealAngelo

Anyone listened to a Xindak DAC-5 (both tube and SS DAC in one)
There was an online Hi-fi store that shipped them from China that sold them for 595 I forgot the name of the store, google is your friend .I paid 595 for my music hall I feel like I overpaid because you get a better sounding dac with the xindak for the same money, ehh such is life.- MichealAngelo

Recommend headphones (budget $500)
I'm not a big fan of using these big amps to power headphones. I think its better to get headphones that sound good straight from the source youre using. I've gotten much better results using good headphones that sound great without an amp than using headphones that require an amp to sound good...- MichealAngelo

looking for good DAC with Sennheiser HD800 (up to $700)
I have the music hall dac25.2 and its a great dac but I would get the xindak dac-5 or dac-8. I got to hear the dac-5 a few weeks ago and it sounded much nicer than my music hall. I think the xindak is probably on par with the Mhdt Havana.- MichealAngelo

Recommend me: Entry-level audiophile speakers on a headphone budget
For an amp check out the small t-amps and for speakers check out the single drivers from tekton or if those are not your cup of tea maybe some low end paradigm atoms or titans -
V-DAC, Maverick D1, or Matrix Mini-I
I'd go with the D1, Its a very good dac for the price. I liked the sound of tube output the most.- MichealAngelo

What is the next noticable/satisfactory upgrade from the uDAC?
any dac with an optical input will work with your macbook. I'm a big fan of tube dac's but I don't think there is any within your budget.- MichealAngelo

Tower speakers for the future (specs inside)
I would personally go with a set of single drivers like tektons or omegas and pair them with a sub. A set-up like that would give the best overall sound IMO.
