Value: Fischer DBA-02 MKII, VSonic GR07, ATH-CK10, UE TF10?
Thanks for all of the responses. It seems like the GR07 is the overwhelming favourite, as well as the TF10. I'll do some checking in to he R-50, haven't heard about them before. I only really added the TF10s to the list because their price seems to be drastically reduced from what it was...- Carefree

Value: Fischer DBA-02 MKII, VSonic GR07, ATH-CK10, UE TF10?
It's not that I don't like bright signatures, I just liked the overall sound of the X10. Having said that, I did love my Q-Jays too, and those were definitely bright to my ears. I guess the problem I have when I read people's comparisons, is that I haven't tried a lot of IEMs (more than the...- Carefree

Thanks. I should have also added the IE8 as I may be able to get a pair of those for £120. So many threads on the IE8 and TF10, have to narrow down the useful ones.- Carefree

Value: Fischer DBA-02 MKII, VSonic GR07, ATH-CK10, UE TF10?
Hi, Sorry for another vs. vs. vs. thread. I am looking for a new pair of IEMs, my short history: Q-Jays: £60 - eBay Pros: Loved the detail, and the fit. Sound signature took some getting used to, but I missed it when it was gone. Cons: Cable lengths didn't work for me...- Carefree

Q-Jays starting to go, looking for something new.
Right, thanks. The wire does feel a little fragile. I'm super pleased so far. Very warm, great detail, good for all kinds of music.- Carefree

Q-Jays starting to go, looking for something new.
Well, I always really wanted the Klipsch X10 but thought they were too expensive. I found them on sale on amazon.co.uk (the X10, not the X10i), on sale for £126. So I went with those. Thanks for your feedback everyone.- Carefree

Q-Jays starting to go, looking for something new.
I was always under the impression that the PFE was a slight upgrade to the Q-Jays. From what I've read, they have all of the good characteristics of the Q-Jays sound signature but with a touch more bass. The reason I'm not totally jumping on the PFE bandwagon is that I prefer IEMs that...- Carefree

Q-Jays starting to go, looking for something new.
Hi, I bought a pair of Q-Jays last year and the left headphone is starting to crap out. Unfortunately, I bought them off eBay from a private seller and have no receipt so I can't really follow up on the warranty. They were only £60 so I don't feel that bad. So, I'm looking for...- Carefree

Are the RE-0s a must buy at the $99 price point?
Maybe I'll give them a whirl. Though, I really want to try the AT CKS70 which are about the same price.- Carefree

Are the RE-0s a must buy at the $99 price point?
I was wondering the same thing. I have been looking for a pair of phones lately, and the love the RE-0 has received obviously piqued my interest. My main concerns were: Build quality - too many stories of split casings. Impedance - Seems too high (/low?) and I'm not sure how loud they'll be...- Carefree

Balanced armature vs dynamic
Are the UE Super.fi.5 EB the only ones that have 1 BA+1 Dynamic? The wiki article that was linked made it sound like there were a few out there. It sounds so intriguing. What does the size of the driver (dynamic) have to do with the sound? I ask because I'm so curious about the AT CKS70...- Carefree

Q-Jays...talk me out of them.
Thank you everyone for your input. I've decided to just take the plunge. In the end, it was always going to be about what I think of them once I've heard them. Part of the reason I was so willing to jump in now is that I got a very good deal on eBay. £58 including shipping for a brand new...- Carefree

Recommend an in-ear headphone for me :)
There are a lot of very favourable reviews out there for the price you are looking at: UE 700 Q-Jays Audeo Phonak (though they are so overpriced in the UK that it's almost not worth it based on principle alone) Atrios M5 Sleek Audio SA6 For under £100 there's also the RE-0 which...- Carefree

Wow. that's the first bad thing I've seen written about them on these boards. I was under the impression that they were some of the best out there, and many comparisons were being made between these and IEMs that are 50% more expensive.- Carefree

I forgot to add. Another similarly priced IEM is the Sleek Audio SA6 (about £110). for comparison, I've seen a lot of threads comparing the Q-Jays and the UE 700. The UE 700 is about £140 over here. From the reviews they sound a bit better to me, but definately not £40 better.- Carefree

Q-Jays...talk me out of them.
Hi. I listen to a lot of different styles of music; folk, rock, metal, rap, jazz, some classical, but not that much. I use an Apple iPod 5th Gen? (1st video iPod) and I mostly listen to music on the commute to work. I used to have a pair of Sure E4c, but the left channel cut out...- Carefree
