Turns out my computer doesn't output the same level of volume to both drivers. I swapped sides(right driver into left ear) and now my left side is quitter than the right.   Atleast I know I am not going deaf, still annoying though regardless.

Cool man. Have fun with your stuff. I used to run with the infinity reference 6820cs component set. Same thing as what you have except my speakers 6x8's as opposed to your 6 1/2, and mine have a separate tweeter and crossover network. Good speakers, I liked them.

Noise deadeners have their place. I put some on the inner and outer sheet metal skin in my doors to silence annoying panel resonance. It worked like a charm. It is also great for helping rid trunk lid vibration when you have a subwoofer. OP, did you already buy all the stuff you listed...

If you are willing to ship it then sell it on ebay instead. You have no seller protection on craigslist. They even tell you to never ship anything, only pick up.

maximo iM-490

I will vouch on behalf of maximo's iM-590. While I do not own that model, I do own the iM-490. It is very balanced, I dont find any particular frequency spectrum to be over powering. Decent bass with nice thump. Highs are not ear piercing, they are a treat when listening to female voices.

My favorites are chocolate fudge and strawberry. I love them.
