In case you haven't checked out yet, be sure to check out Nik Bartsch. He is doing interesting stuff with & to music. Complex rhythms, beautiful texture, and melody to go with it. If nothing, it's an excellent hi-fi listening experience IMO. Check out Holon & Stoa first. If you liked...

    Trying to explore European jazz

Ok, but honestly there are so many different offerings from ECM. It's your call though. There are also middle eastern jazz musicians you may be interested in. Anouar Brahem, Rabih Abou Khalil, John Zorn, Hafez Modirzadeh and more. Good luck.

    A better HD280pro?

Well, if I may be blunt, they are expensive for a slightly better hd280. This is also meant to be a venture for me. I've checked some other stuff on the internet to the best of my abilities. I liked d2000, and ath esw9 but they are both dual cabled and I'm not sure if I can drive them easily...

    A better HD280pro?

moogoob, I like all the things I've said about it. In short, it's convenient. I like the single side coiled cable, being easily driven, good sealing in and out. I wouldn't mind better sounding or more comfortable headphones. I swivel them a lot, take them on and off frequently. So absolutely...
