I have been building various cmoy amps and I've built a bantamdac. I thought I saw that the PIMETA v2 boards were available for sale. Is it true? If it is, do you think it would be a good next project for me?

Now I really have to find one, did someone say that they found some that cost less than sandisk or bb?

I am not sure but is the IC1 sensitive to static? I know the PCM2702 is, and I may be wrong but I think the TPS regulators are sensitive to static. When I built my BantamDAC I had to resolder/reflow IC1 to get the voltages correct.

I own both and I like the E5. I still use my FiiO E5. My E3 just sits around collecting dust. Also if you have DC offset at your input, I do not think the E3 has caps to protect headphones from high DC offset. I plan on getting the E7 when it becomes available
