    Headfive Serial Number List

Just reserved and paid for #101 (5 in binary -- yeah, I'm a computer geek).

C-Pads or another pair of headphones? When does the insanity end?

C-Pads or another pair of headphones? When does the insanity end?

I recently rediscovered this site, and ended up upgrading from an SR-60 to SR-325i plus a PA2V2, PocketDock, flat pads (just for completeness; I've found that my favorite is reversed bowls), and a decent interconnect. I felt a little bit bad about spending so much on a luxury item like this...

    KSC50s: Ugly no more!

Well, actually they're still kinda ugly, but I do think this is a change for the better. In a fit of boredom something caught my eye... My KSC50s were laying around, paint rubbing off and one earclip broken from my constant abuse. Under ordinary circumstances I might have put them away and...

    Headphones and glasses?

Well, I'm not up to modding my pads right now, but a few of the other suggestions seem to work pretty well. Bending the headband out did help a bit. My ears still got a bit sore, but they didn't hurt as much as they had before. Resting the glasses above the headphones, at the top of my ear...

Are full sized headphones commonly used in your countries in public places?

At my school (New Mexico Institutite of Mining and Technology) I've seen a few full size headphones, but not many. All that I've seen were Sony, though I don't know what particular type. Earbuds and small, streetstyle-type headphones are more common. Other than very isolated incidents, I...

    Headphones and glasses?

Well, I bent the headband and it did loosen up a bit. Still not as comfortable as without glasses, but maybe this will make it a bit more comfortable---I'll see how my ears feel in an hour. Thanks for the responses

    Headphones and glasses?

I've adjusted what I easily can... The headband is supposed to loosen a bit over time, yes? It may be that it's still a bit tight, and pushing my ears a bit hard, which could hurt when glasses are involved. Even if it stays the same, I can imagine getting used to wearing them with my glasses...

    Headphones and glasses?

Does anyone else have problems with wearing headphones and glasses at the same time? I've actually found my SR60s to be pretty comfortable when I'm wearing my contacts, but if I'm wearing my glasses the upper part of my ears starts hurting after a while. I know that it isn't just the SR60s...

Really cheap isolating phones for traveling?

Thanks for all the replies! After carefully reviewing my credit card statement and current balance in the bank, I've decided to not buy anything right away. Ultimately, when I have the cash I think I will try for something like the E2cs or Etys, but I don't travel enough to really justify it...

Really cheap isolating phones for traveling?

I've lurked a bit too much around here for my own good... I just got myself my first pair of really good headphones, Grado SR60s, and I'm loving them. But now that my wallet's been depleted (I'm a poor college student) I've suddenly decided that I really want something small and with a lot of...
