Exclusively in terms of quality the best are ATH-L3000 and Ultrasone Edition 9, but they are expensive, in terms of quality/price I would say Grado rs-1.

I've done, but can not find any european amplifier for the Stax, except the Stax amplifiers, and the Coriolan is no longer manufactured by Rudistor, and was a tube amp, so I do not know of any amplifier with the desired characteristics, european and SS. Regards.

Hi I'm thinking of buying an amp for these headphones, tube amplifiers have hamdicap maintenance and for that reason I would like to avoid.Unfortunately I haven´t  enough knowledge to build a DIY amp.Another important circumstance would be that the amplifier could easily be found in Europe...

I haven heard to hd800 and I don´t think it´s the perfect partner for electronic music.

I think I have a good source Musical Fidelity Nu-vista 3D , and good amplifiers  WA6SE maxxed and EAR HP4. Now I look for  headphones for electronic music, thanks for the contribution.

If the ultrasone are good with electronics, then the best option, should be ultrasone edition 9
