Looking for IEMs
Have a look on the for sale forum for a pair of Ultimate Ears Triple fi 10, the current price of them on Amazon US (~$195) means you might be able to pick up a pair for little more than your budget of £100- twmrussen

Portable amp recommendation
I recently bought a pair of ultrasone pro 900 headphones, my first foray into the world of full size cans I will be using them driven from my iPod classic, and was wondering if a cheapish portable amp would make a worthwhile difference. I am looking at the Little Dot Mk1+ portable amp, does...- twmrussen

ebay scam?
Weird thing is you cant sell with private feedback, so he must have changed it just after I bought it. I just checked his feedback rating which was quite good, should have been more thorough- twmrussen

Shure SE530 broken nozzle
I would like to say how pleased I am with shure UK. I sent them my earphones and paypal invoice (that did not prove they were bought new), and I recieved a new pair by courier in under a week. On top of that, they have given me a new receipt if these ones have any problems in the next two years- twmrussen

Comparison of IEMs and headphones
I have been using IEMs for a number of years, but since joining this site I have been tempted to go into the big league of headphones I know it is difficult to compare them, but in terms of sound quality, what would my shure SE530s be equivalent to in the headphone world. Would I experience a...- twmrussen

Cheapest online prices for Shure SE530 and Westone 3?
Shure returns are fine as long as you bought them new. They even will honour ebay warranties so you should be fine.- twmrussen

Apple radio remote?
My iPod LOD has just packed in but I have an apple radio remote for my ipod that works through the line-out slot. Do you think this is an adequate LOD to use with my iBasso D3 or should I get a better one?- twmrussen

How fragile are the Shure SE530's?
I have a pair of these IEMs, and they seem pretty sturdy to me. I occassionally use the case but mostly they are just wrapped around my iPod/Amp, no signs of damage yet. I wouldn't worry especially if they are under warranty.- twmrussen

SE530 recable in the UK?
Not sure about the recabling but did you buy them new from ebay? Shure UK replaced mine for the same reason, despite buying them from ebay, just give them a call and you may be pleasantly surprised- twmrussen

I am thinking of buying a pair of Sennheiser HD600 headphnes, but I know that I need an amp to do them justice. I have two amps that I bought some time ago for speakers, in the Tangent amp-50 and Denon UD-M50 (also a CD player), but I have no idea how these will fair with these headphones. Does...- twmrussen

Quick Question
Have you thought about a pair of IEMs, as you could afford a pair of universal IEMs that have great isolation for that money. Obviously they are very portable as well. I would recommend a pair of shure se530s, sennheiser ie8 or westone 3, if you would consider IEMs. What sort of music do you like?- twmrussen
