Fiio e12 or other for Senn HD650?

Hey guys! I'm eventually going to buy a Bottlehead Crack for these phones, but I also want something portable that will hold me over until I have the funds. I will likely end up with either a Modi or E17k DAC, so amp only. I'm just looking for a good sounding, under $200 amp that will drive...

Looking for a DAC/amp and $150-$200 open cans.

Is there a significant difference in the e17 and e18? Also, I was leaning more towards around ear rather than on ear. Comfort is important.

Looking for a DAC/amp and $150-$200 open cans.

Hey guys,   I've been listening with MDR-V6's for about a year now and like them, but I've found myself becoming more sensitive to their bright top end and resulting fatigue. I'm looking to try a pair of open cans in the $150ish range.   I will be typically listening at my desk, where a...

REVIEW: Nuforce NE-7M iPhone IEM vs Denon C700 and Klipsch Image X10 (NE-8 Impressions Added 1/15/09)

I love how these sound, but I'm having comfort issues. When I wear them like HeadphoneAddict, they fit well and I get an excellent seal and feel good. For about 5 minutes. My ears feel sort of itchy and irritated sometimes and my right ear gets sore. There is some kind of pressure point that...

REVIEW: Nuforce NE-7M iPhone IEM vs Denon C700 and Klipsch Image X10 (NE-8 Impressions Added 1/15/09)

Just got my pair yesterday. First impressions are that they're nice, but the cord is pretty rumbly. You can definetly hear yourself walking/moving around. The tips are okay but I'm going to order some Comply's. I think that will help with the seal, too.

I was looking at them from Amazon. $15 for 3 pairs.

    Tips for Nu Force NE-7M

It added $5 shipping for the phones and another $5 for the tips. It looks like I won't be saving on shipping. Should I just wait, then?

    Tips for Nu Force NE-7M

I am planning on ordering NE-7m's. Do you guys recommend I add T400 tips to my cart and save the $5 on shipping? Or would you wait to see if I have trouble getting a good seal?

Did you consider the NE-7m's for more bass?

Also, my Sister and Dad both have a pair of Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5's. Don't know if that matters or would help any decisions. EDIT: Should I try them and see what I do/don't like about them?

Are UM2's really worth the extra $150 (used) over NE-7m's? I know they're good phones, but is it justifiable to someone knew to the audiophile world? Would the difference be obvious?

    So torn.

I came here to upgrade from my Bose In-ear whatever things. My Parents bought them for me for my birthday because I had asked for "nice earphones." I wasn't so concerned about SQ then as I am now. When they had broken twice, I brought them back for my money back. After much scouring of the...

PX 200 for 1 Cent! - Out of Stock - Happening with other phones now though!

This happened about two weeks ago with a Canon lens. Normally, it sells for about $1200. However, a few (honest) sellers had it listed at $1, sometimes with free shipping. It lasted about an hour before the whole thing was shut down and those who ordered received emails of cancellations. If...
