The Dark Knight or Iron Man? Cast Your Vote
I saw both movies last week. I voted for Iron Man by a hair. Maggie's Rachel in Batman was just awful as opposed to Gwyneth's charming Pepper. Heath's Joker is all they say and more (wow). What say you?- Night Surfer

Proof that men make better friends than women....
Friendship among Women: A woman didn't come home one night. The next morning she told her husband that she had slept over at a friend's house. The man called his wife's 10 best friends. None of them knew anything about it. Friendship among Men: A man didn't come home one...- Night Surfer

Need Help identifying a track...
Not much to go on here (hoping for a minor miracle, actually): About 12 years ago I heard a track on a late night radio show. The track had ambient-like music and spoken lyrics (poetry?). The theme of the lyrics was a City that was alive, conscious, a living, thinking, feeling entity...- Night Surfer

Band of Horses: Cease to Begin
A buddy somehow had this on his Zune, so I grabbed a listen. Sounds very good. Similar to their last one (Everything All the Time). Maybe a smidge mellower, folkier. Love the singers voice. Reminds me of Supertramp and Yes. Great stuff.- Night Surfer

Listened to a 30GB iPod Video today...
I was very impressed and somewhat surprised with how good it sounded. The difference between the iPod and my Kenwood was surprisingly small. iPod headphone out does not suck. I am left with the obvious inescapable conclusion: It's all a lie and I want my money back! Seriously: The...- Night Surfer

Porcupine Tree: How has a band this good managed to fly under the radar?
I discovered them recently (from this forum, THANKS ALL) and I cant believe that I had never heard of them before. The radio stations around here play the same old crap all the time, endlessly. Thank heavens for the internet. "Radioactive Toy" is awesome.- Night Surfer

KENWOOD HD30GB9: First Impressions
The Good: Sound: As advertised. Very clean and detailed (Too damn detailed. Now I can hear the difference in bitrates. 128kbs is no longer acceptable on this unit). Very crisp highs, low end manages to be warm without sounding muffled at all. 5 hour session last night w/ SR60's: no fatigue...- Night Surfer
