Need an amp for 25ohms
Using the Iriver H340 headphone out into the beyer djx-1's is barely loud enough, so I need a headphone amp to drive 25ohms to a much higher level. Using my Pimeta portable atm only gives me abt 2 - 3 days usage, but it is definitely loud enough. Also looking for a neutral/darker sound from the...- arcadian_soul

Djx-1's have arrived!
Have just received the djx-1's today. YAY! Tho from ebay shop there is slight concern that they may actually have already been used before.... anyway... sound great atm... nowhere NEAR as comfy as the dt770's but probably due to strong clamping force with initial use. (must be new then)...- arcadian_soul

Djx1 vs. DT770Pro 250?
Currently own a pair of the dt770's, and while i love the sound (maybe highs a bit harsh), listening to my portapros now makes me realise just how much louder the pp's are. basically i'm looking for the 770sound but louder. Am thinking of the djx1s coz of higher sensitivity, lower imp, max input...- arcadian_soul

Portable amp required for Beyer DT 770Pro 250
Through stupid mistakes i've ended up with the 250 ohm version, and and currently carrying around an amp w/ 12AA batteries. Not very portable. The amps I'm currently looking at would be the mini or maxi moy, or a mint amp thru this site: http://www.headphones.com.au/prod_on...ductID=161#top a...- arcadian_soul

No portable headphone amps in aus?
I've been looking for portable headphone amplifiers that hopefully aren't too bulky in sydney and have not found one. Are there any available around the world at all? Am only using portapros atm but would like to buy either beyer djx1 or dt770 80 or 250.- arcadian_soul
