I've read lots of threads where people say things like "sound great at low levels", "these headphones shine at low volume", etc. This is often said of Grado's. My question is, what exactly qualifies as low volume? Seems to be a rather subjective thing.

I read a post on another forum that claimed that CMOY amps could damage headphones. Specifically, the dual battery versions can easily damage headphones with high levels of DC.       Is this true? If so, are some phones more apt to be damaged than others based on impedance?   I have 2...
