Just discovered Headroom's frequency charts. Was amazed to see the low freq drop off for the HD201 I just bought and am disappointed with. Do these charts reasonably reflect what your ears will hear? Should I stop asking questions here and just go find a nice looking chart and buy that hp...

Really like the sound of the Sennheiser HD497's I've had for 5 years, but wondering if newer, reasonably priced phones would significantly improve things. What I like about the 497's are strong bass and soundstage. Want something at least as good in those areas. Maybe what makes them sound...
