Just added a C16 to the mix to clock the R26 and U18 trying the vivid output first. Also just bought a Cisco SFP-10G-AOC1M off ebay to see how it works in the FMC setup that I have.

LAN to the node, usb from the node to R26. Now LAN to the node, USB from the node to the U18, IIS from the U18 to the R26.

Just hooked up a U18 between my node and R26 using IIS and all I can say right now is..... WOW

R26 has same thing I believe it's for when you would hook up directly to an amplifier or powered speakers with no volume control

Try setting your a26 to fixed, that's what my R26 is at and works fine with the h26. I'll double check my other settings when I get a chance

Yes after the last firmware update the R26 now has randomized mac addresses I had mine on a static IP until the update. Don't know how to change it unfortunately.

I also have a multimode setup at this point I'm wondering if one of your sfps or fmcs is bad

So I did the FMC mod with TP-Link FMCs and Aune XP2 power supply. I have not had a chance to do a whole lot of listening but the first thing that jumped out at me was the noise that I didn't realize was there is gone. Talk about quiet!

No balance setting between left and right channels

I'm going to try an isolator as well as a ddc although I'm doing it on the cheap with an Audioquest Jitterbug FMJ and a SMSL PO100 Pro not really expecting much but it's fun to tinker. I'll post anything worth mentioning.
