Grado Fan Club!
Sorry to butt in on the convo, but this is tangentially related: Does anyone know where to source TTVJ flat ear pads? They don't seem to sell it on their website anymore and I was hoping to get a couple of pairs for my Grados. TIA- cathee

Earbuds Round-Up
Since it's 2.5mm, I only use them with the ES100 and the iBasso DC01 dongle. They seem pretty easy to drive?- cathee

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
If you don't mind going Chi-Fi, I've been very satisfied with the ones I got from AliExpress. - - - A weirder, general question: are there any services out there for re-casing or re-finsihing the Atlas casing? I gave the buds to my baby sister and she's completely ruined them: scratches...- cathee

Help name our next budget fi addition in product line!
The Moondrop Sunrise would have a great oxymoronic ring to it. Actually... Maybe keep that for a future TOTL product :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:- cathee

Cayin N6ii, Unlimited Possibilities: a fully modularized smart DAP
Don't mean to derail the conversation with a weird request, but: Does anyone have a picture of the N6ii in hand? I want to get an idea of a relative size and ergonomics.- cathee

I would say that'll be very likely. Lola/N8s were my favorite CIEMs at CanJam NYC 2020.- cathee

I went with the N8s strictly for the 2-pin hardware, comparing the two (walking between the two booths at CanJam) they're very very similar. You're probably right. Probably in a similar vein, I don't really like planar gear either.- cathee

Oh definitely, I don't like the term "basshead" but I'm definitely basshead-adjacent. For reference, my preferred headphones are a pair of slightly modded Fostex TH900. From memory, I wouldn't say there was more bass on the N8s compared to the A12t, but it "hits" different. I can't really...- cathee

Yeah, really enjoyed the clarity on the A12t, but the bass just couldn't compare. Yeah I read about this when I was waiting for my N8s and was a little concerned, but I haven't noticed any significant differences worth mentioning.- cathee

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies
Wow - reading through the thread I guess I'm lucky to get my N8s in just before the shutdown? I got to sample the entire range of 64 products at CanJam NYC this year (as well as a couple of other CIEM makers' offerings) and decided on the N8s. I'm a sucker for a dynamic bass and was really only...- cathee

CanJam NYC 2020 Impressions Thread (February 15-16, 2020)
Yup, I spent a little bit of both days at the 64 AUDIO booth and in the end decided on getting a pair of N8s. Should be arriving in a couple of weeks. Literally cannot wait. And I completely agree with your cable observations - I even asked Kalani about it. Already emailed Moon Audio/PlusSound...- cathee

...between regular wear & tear and a $250 product that is not up to QC with little to none CS. Earbuds Round-Up
Thank you for the explanation  I'm a dummy I don't mean to be disrespectful but now that I know what a "reserve pair" is, this is kind of a ridiculous comment. I have no faith in Rose products so your suggestion is to buy two pairs? LM(f)AO - that's a big no thank you from me...- cathee
