portable CD players (discman)
There are none as far as I know. There used to be some potable CD players able to rio mp3 into SD cards, but nothing with high quality standards. I guess you are better off getting your CD and play them with a good portable until you return home.- Onix

portable CD players (discman)
Hi. I still use a portable CD player from time to time, but it's connected to the line in of my Topping DAC and I think it sounds very good. But, there is a general consensus that the best sounding players are those made before the comming of antishock protection. Or at least those that had...- Onix

Kogan 8GB MP4 - The Player That Came From Nowhere:
I am still using mine sometimes, with a battery pack I made with 3 AA batteries or a Powerbank battery. It still rocks after all this time and it takes better pictures than my crappy phone.- Onix

Review: Panasonic RP-HT260
I just got a set of these for less than four dollars with a street vendor in Mexico City. I like them very much but they need more volume. I guess they have a high ohm rate. But they have all the good qualities mentioned above. I would also add that they are light and have nice, thick cables...- Onix

Floyd Rose Hi-Fi Headphones
I found these babies at a local store here in Mexico City. They retail for around 200 dollars, but they go for around 130 bucks in the U.S. Fed by my Sony NWZ X1050 they sound nice and pretty clear. Good bass. I think they make a very good set of Rock cans. Anybody has opinions on these? And by...- Onix

Cayin N3 Hi-Res DAP with AKM4490 DAC, apt-X Bluetooth, and Line, USB & Coax Out for $150
I have a silly question: How do use the Cayin as a DAC with the PC. I have installed the driver but the manual is scarce in that area. I also inserted a 8GB card in order to test the player, but there is no spring release it seems and I would really like to know how can I extract it without...- Onix

The X106x and X105x are old players, from 2009 or 2010. I got mine for around a 100 bucks NIB two months ago. When new it retailed for around 200 pounds. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walkman_X_Series- Onix

Line out cable for walkman?
Hi guys, anybody knows who makes a good line out cable for walkman? I need to get one before I get my new amp. I would rather deal with someone in the US if possible, just to make things more expedite. Thanks.- Onix
