Dead capacitor. Bad boy! Bad boy! I replaced it. This is TP-15 reading: It was 30 volts when the cap was shorted. Those jupiter caps are rubbish!

Tung-Sol 5881 are 25 watt tubes. I think we should use only 5R4 rectifiers with them.

Yes, it is. You can get pure silver cable for much less. I got mine from Lavricable. Not that I can hear any difference but YMMV.

Soundwise full size headphones are better. IEMs are great for enjoying music outside.
