Just make sure it’s a glass toslink! Even the cheap ones sound good! The more expensive ones sound different but not necessarily better. -

Anyone compare a WA-6SE to SP Extreme?
I did a search and I didn't find any real comparisons between the two. Has anyone compared the WA-6SE to the SP Extreme (std or platinum)? I've narrowed my choice down to these two, but I'm not sure which to get. Also, I come from a 2ch rig and I prefer the sound of a SET and high efficiency...- yo2tup2

Panasonic SA-XR55,57,etc. class D receivers: Weaknesses?
here's a subjective shootout between digital amps using reference quality speakers. http://www.stereomojo.com/SHOOTOUT2007INTEGRATEDS.htm the SA-SR55 placed somewhere in the bottom.- yo2tup2

Panasonic SA-XR55,57,etc. class D receivers: Weaknesses?

You don't need to buy the cables to demo them. I've demo'd a quite a few without having to purchase them. But I do agree my question was a tangent from the topic... that's why I stated that the question was for my own curiosity. My apologies!- yo2tup2

Physical/scientific aspects behind cable sound. Discuss.
Something I always found interesting while reading feedback regarding the more expensive cables on forums... I never read of anyone that has tried any of the more expensive cables (ie Virtual Dynamics cables, PAD, JPS Aluminta, and other $1000+ cables) say that they've tried them and didn't hear...- yo2tup2
