Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Thank you all for your input. I have contacted IMR Acoustics and Bob has replied to me saying that he has an ex demo unit which I could have for 250£ plus shipping. Without putting too much thought into it I placed the order for R1 ;) To be completely honest this is my first such purchase...- Biesas

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Hi everyone, It's literally been years since I've been here. Good to be back though lol. To make this as short as possible: I've had 2 pairs of FS Atrio over the years and my second set is reaching its end of life. These have been phenomenal because of their sub bass and loved them every bit...- Biesas

Cosmic Ears - new CIEM company with great prices (including Hybrid designs!)
Been reading about these CIEM's a lot now and they really got me interested! Europe based, good quality builds and the price! It all looks to good to be true. But anyway down to the questions I am a sworn basshead and I really love my Atrio but the fit is not the best for me and I have been...- Biesas

IMHO there is nothing out there that can beat the Atrio. I have owned some of the basshead IEMs and none of them can touch Atrio. I love them so much that I have ordered a new pair to replace my broken pair which served me nearly two years of daily abuse. I can go as far as saying that I prefer...- Biesas

Atrio m5 mg7 getting the most out of them
I would suggest ZO 2.3. I have owned the E11 for a while it is definitely a very good amp and is capable of driving most full size headphones. But I have sold the E11 and kept the ZO. ZO will also smooth out those highs a bit as it gives a little bit darker sound. And the bass boost of Zo does...- Biesas

Get yourself some XB700 pads (I know they cost a lot try finding a broken pair) These will provide superior comfort, better isolation and bass. Quote:- Biesas

Listening to my new Q40's ODAC >LD I+>Q40's + something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtmwja_jIFQ (FLAC sounds A LOT better) = These do have more sub-bass than the PRO900's. When I was listening to them yesterday to this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLW0kR0Pitk when...- Biesas

UK 2012 Head-Fi Meet - September 15th Cambridgeshire.
The list of gear I am planning to bring (if anybody want's to try any of it out) has changed to: E-DAC (odac). LittleDot I+ (various tubes), PRO900 (XB700 pads, stock pads), Q40 (Beyer pleather pads), CKS77, Atrio Mg7 and ZO 2.3. Does this list look a bit bass heavy? :)- Biesas

Thats my face now cause since yesterday the left side of my Atrio's started cutting out... I am so gutted now... They are out of warranty as well by about 6 months. Anybody has any idea if there is somebody who could recable them for me in UK? Or any firm that reshells dynamic IEMs? I can't live...- Biesas

I am really leaning towards the Q40. The only thing that is bothering me now is how much do they really leak? Cause my GF is really sensitive to the sound of my headphones when she tries to go to sleep (my PRO900s leaked to much with velour pads) and I don't really want to disturb anyone while...- Biesas

Well to be honest I have never tried any other IEM or headphone that could even touch the Atrio on it's sub-bass there were people saying that the ATH-CKS77 would take the crown from the Atrio as the bass kings and that the sub-bass was almost the same between the two and these were the people...- Biesas

Well fellow bassheads I need some advice. I have always wanted to get myself some sort of a portable headphone which I could take on the tube or well anywhere I go. I have searched this forum inside out but still can't make up my mind. I need something reasonably portable, up to 120£, that has...- Biesas

The ATH-CKS77.
I would suggest these: http://www.meelec.com/MEElectronics_Original_Eartips_for_M11_Earphones_p/tipset2-balancedsound.htm Used these with my Eterna, HJE900 and CKS77 and worked like a charm. But bear in mind that I prefer Bi-Flange tips over single flange. Quote:- Biesas

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Hey mate. I can assure you that the PRO900's leak like hell! For you the isolation from the outside is not really important since the music sound will mask outside noises completely. My GF always used to say that I would rather turn on the speakers when she goes to sleep than I listen to my...- Biesas

UK 2012 LONDON --LOCAL MEETS!
I think that would be plenty of space. From the looks how active this thread has been I can't see more than 20 people showing up. Ofcourse it would probably be best to PM everyone who has showed interest in this mini-meet. I would come for sure I would bring my PRO900's (XB700 pads), ZO2.3...- Biesas

I haven't tried the SE215 but I do own the CKS77. IMO for the price the CKS77 is a great IEM. At first I had fit issues but since I have tried the Meelec's balanced tips it is all great now Overall I would price the CKS77 a lot higher than what they sell for. As well as far as I am aware...- Biesas
