Westone 4 Impressions and Reviews Thread
Hey guys, I just began looking at amps, but I always thought the general reason to get an amp for headphones is for an impedance mismatch. Many of the portable amps I have seen have an even lower impedance than my source device (iphone 5) which seems to be further from matching than going just...- Snuggles

I am just hoping that I don't start feeling the need to purchase a portable amp for them. I've always just run my IEM's directly out of my phone.- Snuggles

Travel and workout IEMs, budget $150-400
Thanks I will read up more on the the W4R's. I believe there should be replacement cables that would enable me to also get the 3 button control/mic, probably expensive though. Wow. after reading more about it the W4R's seem perfect for my needs. I was hoping to keep the price under 300 if I...- Snuggles

Travel and workout IEMs, budget $150-400
I am looking to replace my dying Vsonic GR07's with another IEM with a warm sound. My priorities for the IEM are as follows (in order of importance): 1. Sound quality 2. Durability (detachable cable would be nice) 3. Secure fit 4. Comfort 5. If possible a 3 button mic for iphone Some of...- Snuggles

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
Does anyone know how the fit/comfort is when using the gr07 with the cable straight down? I have been having problems with my glasses and over the ear style IEMs so I want to make sure the next pair I get can be used well with the straight down cable. Might the gr01 be better for this type of wear?- Snuggles

ANYONE HAVE BEATS HP COMPUTER WITH DR DRE HEADSETS?
I have an HP Envy14, which has 'beats audio.' I cannot tell you how it sounds with beats headphones because I do not own any, but I will tell you that 'beats audio' here means IDT audio with a beats audio skin on the audio control panel. Audio quality wise it is better than most laptop audio...- Snuggles

Well since the article says Apple bought exclusive rights to it, I don't expect to see it in any headphones unless they include it in the next iteration of apple iBuds.- Snuggles

Gaming soundcard with good driver support?
Hi, I purchased an Auzentech prelude a couple of years ago and it has been serving me pretty well, however with the release of Windows 7 it appears like they have dropped driver support for it(the latest driver was released about 8 months ago and is a win7 beta driver). When I spent $200~ on my...- Snuggles

burn-in experiment... (proof)
I personally believe in burn-in, but is this really that big of a problem? When you buy new headphones you have plenty of time to analyze its sound. It is not like you will know the subtle nuances immediately after you open the box and plug it in. The idea of just playing music through your...- Snuggles
