Just my two pennies worth: How about a wooden shelf that the turntable sits on bolted to a base board, but the two boards are separated by springs. Instead of the top board being directly connected to the bolts, they would would have springs from the top of the bolts down to the turntable...- Pageygeeza

I do hear it too, but frankly I've come to live with it. It only seems to be drive access noise, so it's pretty minimal.- Pageygeeza

THE DIY HEADPHONE STAND THREAD
Have to admit, my can holder was made from scraps lying around the back garden. As long as you can line the three parts up well and have a decent base that allows it to keep stable, you're laughing. Mine has a reasonable size base, a neck and a bar to hang all my four cans from. I even...- Pageygeeza

IEM's for about 50 bucks
I've not really tested out out isolation yet, but considering the silicone plugs are VERY identical to the Sennheiser CX-200 ones the isolation will be near identical, basically you don't have to crank the volume up far to get rid of medium background noises. The bass itself is pretty...- Pageygeeza

Actually I just picked a pair up, on first glance they look fully open backed. I have to be very honest and say I've never come across a fully open set of iem's.- Pageygeeza

Brill, thanks for confirming that! I had a feeling that's what the case was, but I can't understand why it's still labelled as "stable" I take it I'll need to install it manually? Edit: All fixed now. Found the threads on the 3.8 issues and rolled back, will probably give it a...- Pageygeeza

SansaClip+ Rockbox Impressions thread
@daniel: Just tried that with no luck. It seems like rockbox itself cannot save anything to memory, so it finds everything, but cannot save the database. Also, everytime I change the theme, when I restart rockbox, it reverts to the original theme. So I'm thinking it's something to do with...- Pageygeeza

SansaClip+ Rockbox Impressions thread
I've recently encountered a problem where the database isn't updating anymore. Considering the thing was getting bit messy with stuff all over the place, I thought I'd clear it up and remove rockbox, install the normal firmware and format it then install rockbox again. I'm still having...- Pageygeeza
