Hello, everyone! I'm considering whether to get the Aegis or the HA-300 amplifier. I also plan to purchase the ZMF Atrium, as my ultimate goal in life is to own the Susvara. Could someone please share the pros and cons of both amplifiers, please giude me which way I should go?

I believe ss3602 is good starting point if you would like to keep the mobility and close the lid.

I believe someone posted long time ago, The 05FS1 official power supply /w cooler comes with 12V2A AC adapter. Just wondering 12V2A vs. 12V3A+, Is it true XD05 works as Class A mode when power is supplied higher than 3A ?

Yes, AKM is smoother and not sharp, ( no clean edging ) as much as ESS. But i don’t think AKM is warmer overall. My best pick is akm as well.

Go with V6, SS3602, FM255 or JL1973 those are better than V5i-D. Also you can close the lid.

I got mine too. Good quality and nice design match. However the fan is noisy. Wish it had rpm speed control

MK9 buffer is way more wider and double PCB layers, there is no way to fit this inside of xd05pro unit with door closed. MK8 buffer seems to be the same size as typical empty dip8 socket, but has little bit higher feet.

just swapped the stock OP amp with burson V5i-D. My AKM module is under delivery process, Even though this v5i-d makes big sound improvements. OMG, everyone should try if you are on stock opamp. what would be the next one I should try? Burson V6? Spakrkos ss3602?
