Pictures Of Your High End System II (Same Rules Apply)
This is my bedroom setup: Gumby multibit into WA22 and LCD3 (with a Liquid Carbon on standby). There's a Beaglebone Black behind it all that runs Roon Bridge and connects to my NAS. Cardas Golden Reference interconnects and Moon Silver Dragon on the LCD3.- jerico

Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon Owners Impressions
6-7 weeks is a long time either way. Mine was brand new though - I think I was only on my 3rd listening session with it when it went bug eyed.- jerico

Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon Owners Impressions
I didn't have the LC for long before it borked itself, so minimal break in time and all that - but I think it gives my WA22 a run for its money with the LCD3, which is impressive given the price difference. Can't wait to get it back!- jerico

Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon Owners Impressions
Hi Doc - Erm, they literally just went out on Thursday - they haven't even arrived back at Cavalli yet. Mine had a channel imbalance issue too (left channel was super loud even at 0 volume, while right was controllable). It was fine at first, then during a listening session the left side just...- jerico

Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon Owners Impressions
Just wanted to give a little shout out to Terry at Cavalli for awesome customer service. I had to send a new LC in for repairs and the experience so far has been top notch (though the waiting is killing me!). Justin- jerico

My WA22 is acting up - looks like it needs to go back to the mothership for inspection/repair. It blew 2 fuses over the last week, as well as a rectifier. And the power knob no longer functions on the left-most position - the amp remains powered on when the dial is turned all the way to the...- jerico

Schiit Yggdrasil Impressions thread
Yggy just arrived. All good so far, although I seem to be affected by the USB power port management issue (on Schiit USB FAQ page). If I connect a cable to the machine's left-side USB port, the Yggy drops in and out. All is fine on the right-side port though.- jerico

Schiit Yggdrasil Impressions thread
Thanks! My go-to DAC (Wavelength Crimson) decided to sputter out - and it doesn't seem to be an issue with the tubes (I tried 2 sets of replacements, and it is still borked). So I'm taking the opportunity to try the Schiit as it ticks a lot of boxes for me, and the price is right. Hope it lives...- jerico

Just ordered an Yggy (and it was in stock for European voltage) - should be here in a few days. Going to pair it was my WA22 as well as my integrated/speaker setup (good to have multiple outs, finally).- jerico

Please help me with my survey (about storage)
I've got 2.8 terabytes capacity on a RAID10 NAS (doubly backed up to external USB drives once a week). About half of it is currently being used, mostly for audio (plus photos and a little bit of video as well).- jerico

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
Mine just arrived today! Gotta get up in 7 hours but don't expect much sleep between then and now. They do sound similar to my LCD2s but they're more extended yet also more... subtle? Effortless? I'm reaching for the right word - they present a clearer, bigger image but they also feel more...- jerico

Beyerdynamics T1 vs LCD-2, which one is a better all-rounders?
I also have both, and would go for the T1 if gaming and watching movies are a solid part of your "regimen". I'm one who would consider the T1 a little over-emphasized on the highs (as opposed to innately more detailed), which isn't necessarily a bad thing - but I think that trait makes them...- jerico

An offhand observation here: last night, I switched out my W4S DAC2 for my Wavelength Brick (which usually does duties in my speaker rig). I prefer the W4S with the WA22 quite a lot (the Brick shines in the speaker rig, though the differences between it and the DAC2 are harder to notice in that...- jerico
